I’m Pippa, an illustrator based in London, England. I’ve loved reading, making stories and drawing ever since I was little. When I was choosing my GCSEs I told my teacher I wanted to illustrate children’s books for a living and she said she wasn’t sure that was an actual job. Luckily I found out it is and I recently completed an MA in Children’s book illustration at Cambridge School of Art to prove it!

I have far too many hobbies and love learning about new things but I always come back to comics, mythology and fairy tales. I love ghosts, witches, beasties and fairies and like putting a new take on old tales.

I work in a combination of print making, drawing and digital work layered together or in multimedia. I like lots of texture and bold shapes in my illustrations and love my stories to be simple and quiet but also very silly.
